Patient was diagnosed with Right breast cancer. Her and her oncology surgeon decided on bilateral nipple sparing mastectomies. She underwent bilateral mastectomies, and had immediate breast reconstruction using tissue expanders. This initial reconstruction was performed at the same setting, as soon as her general surgeon completed the bilateral mastectomies. Her tissue expanders were gradually expanded in office setting during the following several months. And as last stage, she was taken back to operating room for a short outpatient surgery, and her tissue expanders were replaced with silicone implants.
She has no capsular contracture, and has very soft, natural breasts (reconstructed breasts). And she is cancer free.
